The latest hot trend in urban fashion clothes
for men is called Sik Silk, a line that includes T-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, pants and headwear, and several other departments, with a very unique twist.
The menswear line
stands among the best in the streetwear clothing scene because it mixes all the best of urban fashion and streetwear
ideas in an old skool/modern style, and is comfortable at the same time.
Back in 2012 Sik Silk
was created by a group of people obsessed with American, British and Japanese influences within the world of fashion, street culture and music. Former Graham School pupils Barry Gill, 34, David Thompson, 30, and Sam Kay, 31, created Sik Silk after spotting a gap in the market for American apparel.
The group boldly states on their web page
‘’We know that our presence within television, press, music and social media will continue to grow as it has since 2012. We pioneer that. We are adored by the rich & famous around the world. We are admired and loved by our global customers’’
And now in 2015, only 3 years later that statement has become a reality since the menswear brand
has proven to be extremely popular with several high profile male celebrities.
Founder Barry has stated that: “We realized it was about to become really popular and managed to start doing it a year before it really took off”
That certainly became a reality when One Direction band member Niall Horan expressed his support for the clothing line on his twitter account where he posted
@NiallOfficial @SikSilk cheers for all the clothes! Quality stuff, love it!
Other celebrities that have been seen in Sik Silk clothing include rapper 50 cent, Aston Merrygold from JLS and Calum Hood from 5 Seconds of Summer.
And just because the brand is being popular with celebrities doesn’t means that the line isn’t affordable for the masses.
With so many different items in store, they have a wide range of prices that can totally fit in with your wardrobe budget.
Sik Silk states on their web page that their collections are here to push the boundaries in design, trends, graphics and diversity.
And indeed they are continuing to expand their brand in America, as well as Australia and Europe, and are about to sign another lease for a main studio in Plaxton Park.
Entrepreneurs in online stores and bricks and mortar are bringing the latest fashion trend to shoppers across the world. The brand has a massive social media presence, loads of exposure and outlets, and is poised for massive growth.
